Habio Alpha Galactosidase Powder
Description of Habio Alpha Galactosidase
α-galactosidase is an enzyme used to hydrolyze or break α-1, 6-glycosidic bonds into galactosyl oligosaccharides(α-galactosides), liberating simpler, more usable sugars and eliminating its anti-nutrient effect. Thus, it improves the utilization of the energy and proteins in feedstuff.
Definition of Alpha Galactosidase
One unit (U) of α-galactosidase is defined as the quantity of enzyme, which liberates 1μmol P-nitrophenol in one min at 37℃ and pH5.0
Specification of Alpha Galactosidase
Product | Form | Regular Activity | Stable High Concentration |
Alpha Galactosidase | Powder | 2,000U/g, 5,000U/g, 10,000U/g | 20,000 U/g |
Note: Mesh Size: 40 mesh ≥ 90%.
Fuction of Habio Alpha Galactosidase
1. Hydrolizing α-galactoside’s bonds, improving feed quality and allowing a better use of its carbohydrates and proteins, thus reducing cost.
2. Increasing feed intake of livestock, improving their growth performance, reducing the nitrogen output, thus creating less environmental pollution
Character of Habio Alpha Galactosidase
1. High Activity in 30℃ - 70℃, the optimal temperature is 60℃; High Activity in pH3.5 – 7.0, the optimal pH is 5.0.
2. Good thermostability in 30 – 60℃, mainly used for mash feed without pelleting in high temperature; High storage stability, easy to transport, process and store. The activity can kept over 80% after 12 months storage under room temperature.
