Habio α-galactosidase is an enzyme used to hydrolyze or break α-1, 6-glycosidic bonds into galactosyl oligosaccharides (α-galactosides), liberating simpler, more usable sugars and eliminating its anti-nutrient effect. Thus, it improves the utilization of the energy and proteins in feedstuff.
Definition of Activity
One unit (U) of α-galactosidase is defined as the quantity of enzyme, which liberates 1μmol P-nitrophenol in one min at 37℃ and pH5.0.
Product Function
Hydrolizing α-galactoside’s bonds, improving feed quality and allowing a better use of its carbohydrates and proteins, thus reducing cost.
Increasing feed intake of livestock, improving their growth performance, reducing the nitrogen output, thus creating less environmental pollution.
