Habio Pectinase is a high-efficiency feed enzyme developed to hydrolyze pectin and plant fiber polysaccharides in feed ingredients.
Pectin is a structural polysaccharide naturally found in plant cell walls. In mature plant tissues, pectin is closely associated with cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin, forming complex structures that reduce nutrient accessibility and limit digestion in animals.
Because animals lack sufficient endogenous enzymes to degrade pectin effectively, nutrients trapped inside plant cell walls cannot be fully utilized.
Habio Pectinase, produced through advanced Aspergillus niger fermentation technology, efficiently breaks down pectin while also providing cellulase and hemicellulase activity. This helps release more nutrients from feed ingredients and improves overall feed digestibility.
Plant-based feed materials contain significant levels of pectin and fibrous polysaccharides that can:
Adding Pectinase to feed helps break these structural barriers and improves nutrient availability throughout digestion.
Hydrolyzes pectin and plant fiber matrix to release encapsulated nutrients.
Improves digestion and absorption of nutrients from fibrous feed ingredients.
Supports smoother digestion and better nutrient transport in the intestinal tract.
Helps optimize digestive conditions and encourages better feed consumption.
Promotes intestinal function and stimulates endogenous digestive enzyme activity.
Improves utilization of unconventional raw materials and alternative feed ingredients.
Enhances raw material value and improves economic efficiency in feed formulation.
