Habio α-Galactosidase is a high-efficiency feed enzyme developed to improve nutrient digestibility and intestinal health in monogastric animals. Plant-based feed ingredients such as soybean meal, cottonseed meal, peanut meal, and sunflower meal contain significant levels of anti-nutritional oligosaccharides including raffinose and stachyose, which cannot be effectively digested by endogenous enzymes in poultry and swine.
Habio α-Galactosidase hydrolyzes α-galactosidic bonds and converts these indigestible oligosaccharides into absorbable sugars, helping reduce intestinal fermentation, gas production, and digestive stress. The enzyme supports better nutrient utilization, improved feed efficiency, and enhanced animal performance under modern feed production systems.
One α-galactosidase Unit (U/g) is defined as the amount of enzyme required to release 1 μmol of p-nitrophenol from 10 mmol/L p-nitrophenol-α-D-galactopyranosyl per minute at 37℃ and pH 5.0.
