Increasing Income and Improving Livestock and Poultry Production Performance Thermostibilty Phytase Enzyme
Product Overview
Phytic acid (IP6), a common anti-nutritional factor in feed ingredients, accounts for 60%-80% of total phosphorus in raw materials. Phytic acid combines with phosphorus to form an extremely insoluble salt, which prevents the digestion and absorption of phosphorus by livestock and poultry, reduces the nutritional value of feed, and thus has a great impact on the growth and development of livestock and poultry. Besides, the undigested phosphorus is excreted with the feces which pollutes the environment.
Phytase is an enzyme specially designed to degrade phytic acid and phytate in feed ingredients whose main functions are:
A. Releasing the phytate-bound calcium and phosphorus in raw materials, improving the utilization of calcium and phosphorus, reducing the use of calcium monophosphate therefore saving costs;
B. Reducing the emission of calcium, phosphorus and mineral elements to reduce environmental pollution;
C.Decomposition of phytate which binds to protein and digestive enzymes to improve the digestive utilization of amino acids;
D.Overdose phytase can improve production performance more effectively.
Definition of Activity
One phytase unit (U) is defined as the amount of enzyme which liberates 1μmol inorganic phosphorus per minute from 5.0mmol/L sodium phytate at 37℃, pH5.5.
Characteristics of Phytase
1. Activity has good performance at wide range of temperature, Habio phytase has high activity from 30℃-95℃, the optimum temperature is 80℃.
2. Habio phytase has high activity from pH2.5-5.5, the optimum is pH=4.5. The activity is higher when tested in acid environment.
3. Trypsin and Pepsin resistance:Keep staying at Trypsin-Pepsin solution for 5.5 hours, the enzyme retention rate is 81.36%.
