Catalase Monitoring And Optimizing The Amount Of Hydrogen Peroxide In Bleaching Process, Degrading Residual Hydrogen

 

 

Habio catalase is produced by Mianyang Habio Bioengineering Co., LTD., using modern genetic engineering technology, microbial fermentation technology and advanced post-treatment technology. It can efficiently catalyze the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide) and convert it into oxygen and water. It can be widely used in the removal of hydrogen peroxide in textile, paper making, electronics, food, environmental protection and other industries, greatly saving water resources and reducing energy consumption.

 

 

Definition of Activity

 

One unit (U) of catalase is defined as the quantity of enzyme, which liberates 1μmol hydrogen peroxide per minute at 30℃, pH7.0.

 

 

Product Characteristic

 

1. Exclusive microbial fermentation, The stability and efficiency have achieved and exceeded the international leading level;

2. A broad temperature range of activity, excellent thermostability and high enzyme activity at 25℃-65℃,reach the highest enzyme activity at 40℃

 

3. A wide pH range of activity. High enzyme activity under pH 5.5 to 11.5, adapt to different industries;

 

4. Thermostable Treatment

Thermostable treatment: water bath for 5 min under different temperature, then test the residual enzyme activity.

 

5. pH Resisitance Treatment

Resisitance treatment: treatment for 90min under different pH, then test the residual enzyme activity.

6. Trypsin and Pepsin resistance:

Keep staying at Trypsin-Pepsin solution for 5.5 hours, the enzyme retention rate is 83.94%.

 

7. High purity without impurities, good storage stability, convenient for transportation and storage

Product Functions

 

1. Electronics Industry: to remove hydrogen peroxide after eroding germanium, silicon transistors and semiconductor components; saving water, energy and time;

2. Food Industry: to remove residual hydrogen peroxide after using it as bleacher, oxidation, starch denaturant and preservative in food processing; can be used for eliminating the special odor of hydrogen peroxide caused by ultraviolet irradiation in production of milk, egg products, cheese and other products; also used as leavening agent of baking food;

3.  Environmental protection industry: to remove residual hydrogen peroxide in the waste water, reduce environmental pollution and secondary pollution after hydrogen peroxide treatment of sewage;

4. Textile Industry: to remove hydrogen peroxide after bleaching and before dyeing, saving water, energy and time, not damaging the fibers and dyes, and do not pollute the environment;

5. Papermaking Industry: monitoring and optimizing the amount of hydrogen peroxide in bleaching process, degrading residual hydrogen peroxide after the bleaching;

6. Hydrogen peroxide decomposition also applicable to other industries.

According to the specific circumstances of each industry (refer to the recommended dosage in Accessory 1), the optimum reaction conditions is 25℃, pH6.8, be compatible with the most commonly used active agents and hydrogen peroxide stabilizers.

Remark: Habio can supply different enzyme activity of catalase according to customer requirements.

Package and Storage

 

Packaging: 30kg per plastic barrel, 225kg per plastic barrel.

The activity is not less than the labeled enzyme activity after store for 6 months in 4℃; The activity is not less than the labeled enzyme activity after store for 3 months under room temperature condition (less than 25 ℃). Avoid long-term storage in above 30 ℃.

Avoid to be exposed to the sun, rain, high temperature and high humidity.

Remarks:

1. Detection method of Catalase activity is Na2S2O3-KI titration (enterprise standard).

2. Using the MERCK Hydrogen peroxide test strips to measure the residual H2O2 of samples: immerse the test strip in the samples and remove it after 1 second, compare it with the standard color card in 15 seconds, processing completed when the reading is zero.
