Acid Beta Mannanase
Description of Acid Beta Mannanase
As one of the components of plant cell wall, β-mannan is a common anti-nutritional factor in feedstuff. The anti-nutrition of β-mannan is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
(1) β-mannan interacts with water molecules to form a network structure and increase the viscosity of intestinal solution;
(2) Affects changes in the water holding capacity of the intestinal contents, thereby affecting the absorption of glucose and water;
(3) Influences the secretion of insulin and insulin growth factor (IGF-I);
(4) β-mannan increases the viscosity of the chyme, causing the encapsulation of nutrients and digestive dysfunction, while a large amount of undigested nutrients enter the hindgut for anaerobic fermentation, producing a large number of Clostridium. During the growth and reproduction process of such microorganisms, a large amount of toxins are produced, which can easily cause digestive diseases;
(5) the surface of β-mannan carries negative charge, which has strong adsorption ability to metal ions with positive charge, so it is easy to cause the lack and loss of trace elements;
(6) to induce the body to produce feed-type induced immune response, generate immune stress, change the energy distribution of animal body, and reduce the utilization efficiency of animal feed.
Habio Mannanase specifically degrades β-mannan to produce mannooligosaccharides.The main functions of this enzyme are as follows:
(1) reduce the viscosity of digestive tract chyme;
(2) improve the intestinal microflora and maintain the integrity of intestinal function and structure;
(3) to alleviate the insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) secretion disorder caused by mannan;
(4) alleviate the effect of mycotoxin on the animal body.
Definition of Beta Mannanase
One unit of (U) of Beta Mannanase is defined as the quantity of enzyme , which liberate 1μmol reducing sugar per minute from 3mg/mL mannan solution at 37℃, pH5.5.
