Glucose oxidase is a new enzyme preparation developed by Habio in cooperation with the University of California and Biotechnology Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences(CAAS ). It is cultivated by Aspergillus niger, produced by advanced submerged liquid fermentation technology and comprehensively developed by a variety of post-treatment technologies. It can highly catalyze the β-D-glucose reaction, generate gluconic acid, consume oxygen, with the advantages of high reaction, no toxic and side effects, and can effectively play a role in health care and disease prevention for animal breeding.

Definition of Glucose Oxidase Activity
The amount of enzyme required to oxidize 1.0 umol beta-D-glucose to D-gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide per minute at 37℃ and pH 6 is defined as one unit of glucose oxidase (U).
