One unit (U) of catalase is defined as the quantity of enzyme, which liberates 1μmol hydrogen peroxide per minute at 30℃ and pH7.0.
Product Functions
It is suitable for deoxygenating food that uses hydrogen peroxide as a bleaching agent, oxidizing agent, starch denaturant, and preservative during food processing. It can also be used to deoxygenate paper-plastic aseptic packaging materials after sterilization before packaging. It can eliminate the peculiar odor caused by hydrogen peroxide produced by ultraviolet irradiation in the production of milk, egg products, cheese, etc..
