Description of Habio Keratinase 

Habio keratinase is a new type of enzyme developed by Mianyang Habio Bioengineering Co., Ltd with microbe fermentation and advanced post-process technology. It has efficient disulfide bond reductase and peptide hydrolysis enzyme activity, and can effectively catalyze the hydrolysis of proteins especially keratin proteins, can be widely used in feed, leather, food, cosmetics, and other industrial fields.

Definition of Habio Keratinase

One unit (U) of keratinase activity is defined as the amount of enzyme which liberates 1 μg tyrosine per minute from substrate casein at pH 10.5 and 40℃.

Fuction of Habio Keratinase

1. Feed industry

Promoting animal’s digestive ability of protein, polypeptide and amino acid; improving animal’s digestive physiological function, reducing diseases. Promoting feed utilization rate and reduce costs.

Character of Habio Keratinase

1. High Activity in 35℃ - 80℃, the optimal temperature is 65℃.

2. High Activity in pH7.5-10.5, the optimal pH is 10.5.

Package and Storage

Packaging: 25kg/bag or 20kg/25kg fiber drums

Store in original package under sealed, room temperature condition for 12 months (less than 25 ℃).

Avoid to be exposed to the sun, rain, high temperature and high humidity.
